Lolita Wilson-1963


For the last 12 years, Lolita has been a Traveling Healthcare IT Consultant. While caring for healthcare professionals is most satisfying, she’s never lost her passion for the arts.


 She attended Cleveland’s Cooper School of Art in 1978. There she developed and strengthened her skill in drawing and design. Lolita was voted ”Most Artistic Female of Class 1981”. She attended East Technical High School where she graduated top of her commercial art class. In 1993, Lolita attended Cuyahoga Community College, there she learned computer animation and studied art history with an emphasis on painting.


Lolita started her collection of paintings, All Shades of the Blues in 1994. She entered this series at The Cleveland Clinic Employee’s Art Expo in 2000-2005.
She has also found time to do many banners, murals, logos and signs for non-profit organizations and individuals in the greater Cleveland area. In 2002, Lolita was the feature artist during the month of October at the Enclave Café in Willoughby, Ohio.

In 2007, she showed at Artist Review Today in the Galleria at Erieview and at Case Western Reserve University MSASS. Lolita participated in a group exhibition at the Hodge Live/Work Studios of the St. Clair/Superior Neighborhood June. She shared her experience and expertise through instruction of expression painting to 7-12 year olds. These workshops are hosted by The Hodge Arts and Culture Projects which Lolita was a member.


September 2007-2008 she participated in The Greater Cleveland Art & Gallery Festival in the Galleria and she exhibited at Lake Erie Gallery in Cleveland’s Tower City.


In 2009-2010 She exhibits her new body of work with the city of Cleveland in the company of a core group of artists called the Visionary Installers Sharing Inspired Thoughts aka The Visit Arts Collective which focuses on current historical themes of the 21st century, conceptional illustrated Installations that have been featured in the Ingenuity Art & Technology festival both 2009 and 2010. 


  In 2011, she presented her work in Shore Culture Center, Cleveland Clinic Employee art show and The W.78 St Studios May 2011 show.


 Today, she will be working with The Visit with Cleveland Slavic Village in Rooms To Let /Gertrude Garden as they received The Minority Arts And Educational Fund. Along with receiving a grant the design of a portable seed cleaner with The Cleveland Seed Bank. Anticipating many more projects in the horizon with other venues around the greater Cleveland area. The group will be an annual part of FireFish Festival in Lorain Ohio. 


Today, she is in post production with a documentary that focuses on the Visit Artists as a Collective. Showcasing their lives as well as their art. Moreover how they live and express themselves with many adversities in city of Cleveland.  Unfolding more conceptional installations. The group continues to evolve as well as individually developing a sense of purpose.

Lolita is participating in a Global Exhibition called HAF Connects were the focus is on a global pandemic of unsustainable and toxic material of Plastics that has crippled our world along with the COVID-19.
