For the last 10 years, she has worked for The Cleveland Clinic. While caring for patients is most satisfying, she’s never lost her passion for the arts. Her first art show: The Exceptional Children’s Week Expo she won first place at age 8. She attended Cleveland’s Cooper School of Art in 1978. There she developed and strengthened her skill in drawing and design. Lolita was voted” Most Artistic Female of Class 1981”. She attended East Technical High School where she graduated top of her commercial art class. In 1993, Lolita attended Cuyahoga Community College, there she learned computer animation and studied art history with an emphasis on painting. Lstarted her collection of paintings, All Shades of the Blues in 1994. She entered this series at The Cleveland Clinic Employee’s Art Expo in 2000-2005. She has also found time to do many banners, murals, logos and signs for non-profit organizations and individuals in the greater Cleveland area. In 2002, Lolita was the feature artist during the month of October at the Enclave Café in Willoughby, Ohio. She was the guest artist at Akeena health and beauty spa in Euclid, Ohio in 2006. During this year 2007 she has a showing at Artist Review Today in the Galleria at Erieview and at Case Western Reserve University MSASS. Lolita participated in a group exhibition at the Hodge Live/Work Studios of the St. Clair/Superior Neighborhood June. She shared her experience and expertise through instruction of expressional painting to 7-12 year olds. These workshops are hosted by The Hodge Arts and Culture Projects which Lolita is a member. September 2007she participated in The Greater Cleveland Art & Gallery Festival in the Galleria and she exhibited at Lake Erie Gallery in Cleveland’s Tower City .Today, she is currently focused on her new body of work.
